The month of September is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows and the feast is celebrated on 15th September. He is the patron saint of lost and stolen articles, typically portrayed holding the child Jesus—or a lily—or a book—or all three—in his arms. What kid doesn’t love dragons? On April 23 we will celebrate the patron saint of England, St. George. According to tradition, he was a Roman soldier in the Roman Army, who is often depicted as killing a dragon as a symbol of faith triumphing over evil.
