I’m sure you’ve played, Snakes and Ladders.

Serpents and Eagles is a Christian twist to this classic Board Game.

It is specially designed to use play as a quality time to prompt sharing about gospel values.

Board games are designed to teach children turn taking, develop social and cognitive skills, enhancing language, collaboration and teamwork, setting goals, focus and self confidence while strengthening relationships.

What more than spending time together, without a screen, engaging and connecting with your child and planting seeds of faith, all the time while having fun?

You will need:

• Small objects to use as counters
• Any book with page numbers
• A print out of the SERPENTS & EAGLES gameboard

Instructions:

1. Each player places their counter on No. 1
2. Take turns to open a random page of the book and use the last digit no. of the page to move forward. For eg. If you open page 86, move forward 6 steps.
3. If you reach the mouth of the SERPENT, you will be swallowed to the digit on its tail.
4. If you reach the wing of an EAGLE, you can soar to the digit on its other wing
5. The first person to reach 100 wins!
