Archangels Michael, Gabriel & Raphael Feast
Try to read about the Archangels to the little ones. We could even show them stories available on you tube to get our little ones interested about the Saints Michael, Raphael and Gabriel.
As for older kids, it would be great to go over the Bible references for each Archangel.
We made the Archangels with coloured paper and learnt about their individuality with the symbols. Of course the boys tried to make them as different as possible, but ensured their wings remained the same though. Then attached a skewer stick to use them as a decorative dessert topper.
Protector:- St. Michael: Sword
Messenger:- St. Gabriel: Scroll
PRAYER TO THE ARCHANGELS
A simple prayer to Saints Michael, Raphael and Gabriel is a good way to end the celebration and honour them. Either the prayer below or any prayer to the archangels you are familiar with would do.
Obviously, no feast is complete without feasting.
Little Mischka asked for Ice cream. So we made a simple choco vanilla sundae and decorated it with our Archangel toppers.
Happy Feast of the Archangels!
