M for St. Medard!
St. Medard is a lesser known saint who celebrates his feast on June 8. He is special for us as he is the patron saint of my son Obie!
We marvel at the story of the patron saint of bad weather. As we celebrate his feast day do spend some time reading about his life to your little ones here.
It is said that as a boy, once when he was stuck in a horrible storm, an eagle soared over him protecting him while the storm lasted.
